We have recently submitted an application for an extension and internal alterations for a ground floor flat in Clapham, London.
The existing 1-bedroom flat has a cramped kitchen, no dining area and lacks space for a family to come together. The existing private rear garden feels disconnected, with small openings and fenestration, yet still feels overlooked by neighbours.
Our proposal aims to solve these issues, working with our client’s brief to put forward a scheme which works hard to create a feeling of space within a confined floor area; allowing for connection and light to infiltrate the floor plan.
Below are some of our proposed options through the design stages. We’re excited to get this out of planning and onto site!
